Kory Ireland, long time winter visitor to La Manzanilla, passed away from cancer complications on August 10, 2024 in Calgary Canada.
Kory loved coming to La Manzanilla every year, she called it her happy place. Kory loved music and dancing to Chava every Tuesday at the Crocodile Bar. Kory loved the Caesar salad at Martins and dancing to Elsa and the ChidoRivera band on Wednesdays. She also loved playing bocci ball, long walks down the beach, golfing, entertaining and taking Art's money playing crib. Kory touched the lives of so many people around the world but she really considered the people of La Manzanilla, both local and snowbirds as extended family.

Art and Kory were married for 36 wonderful years.

There will be a celebration of Korys life in La Manzanilla sometime this winter.
