Peluditos has an opportunity to again host volunteers through an organization called WorkAway (www.workaway.info) This summer we hosted two women, one from Germany, one from Canada, who were able to help care for the animals and do some garden work. The volunteers work about 25 hours per week in exchange for housing. The rest of their time here they get to enjoy our community and all we have to offer. Part of the purpose of the program is cultural exchange, immersion into the community. Thank you to all who made Franca and Krystal feel welcome this summer. We have two more volunteers scheduled for December and one in March.

We are reaching out to the community for your support. More volunteers are interested in helping at Peluditos, but we need lodging for them. If you have space and would be willing to host a volunteer, please let Laura, Ceci or Ginny know or email us at Peluditos.lmanz@gmail.com and we will give you more details. Volunteers need a separate bedroom and access to cooking and bathroom facilities. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet good-hearted people from all corners of the world.
