Our new regidora (councilwoman), Alexandra, told me that a clean up will start in town this coming week. On Monday unwanted/rubbish household items can be put out on the streets for collection. General clean up such as sweeping sidewalks and streets will take place on 31 Oct, 1 & 4 November. Volunteers or small payments are welcome to be able to hire help. Meet up at Alexandra’s store at 4.00 pm.
Whilst we’re on the subject, I would like to remind property owners that it is customary and their responsibility to make sure their side of the sidewalk up to the middle of the street is kept swept and clear of debris.
