To me, visiting La Manzanilla for over 30 + years the place changes as does the faces. It is missing a lot with so many faces that I once knew gone but I guess that is true in any small town. Over the years it has grown, and I hear all the time from the "Old timers" the same thing. People will say I didn't see anyone I knew in the square or restaurant.
There were gathering places where people went for conversation, companionship and drink! Dan's beach front was one of those places.
