Edgar Virrueta, one of the owners of Oporto in La Manzanilla, is in this photo with his sister and manager of the store Evelin.

My wife Debbie taught Edgar in grade 7, and he has grown up be one of the nicest men we know. Evelin was also a student - in our English classes in nearby Los Ingenios.

The Oporto liquor store has a huge selection, and Edgar keeps his prices low. It’s located around the corner from Palapa Joe's on Calle Perula.
