Many of us are updating, thinning or replanting our gardens this time of year. If you have any plants that you no longer want or need, please consider donating them to Peluditos. The animal refuge could use some additional greenery and flowers, especially larger plants that will provide shade for the animals. Fast growing trees, like almendro and neem, would be especially welcome. Vining plants for along the fences would be fabulous. There are a few particular plants we are wanting to include in the plan. If you have Snake Plants (also known as Mother in Law Tongue), or Bougainvillea please consider giving them a new home at Peluditos Animal Refuge. Our visiting volunteers are ready and willing to get them planted. If you can deliver the plants, a big thank you. If not, we will come pick them up.
