My friend Xóchitl Rachlin made chicken and pork tamales this morning. I think her tamales are the best.

She sells 6 tamales for 102 pesos. First come, first served.

Her apartment is located at Maria Asunción 220 (next to Aborrotes Fanny). Come through the black gate to the patio. The gate may be closed but is only locked around 8 p.m.

If the apartment's sliding glass door is closed, Xóchitl can usually be found at the beach house, its patio or on the beach in front of the house.

To reheat, I steam 2 tamales for 10 minutes (for 2 people). Reheating with a microwave for 2-3 minutes probably also works. I serve them with shredded cheese & green salsa and a salad.
