Bad news.I talked with a taxi driver and he confirmed my fear. There's a rule that prohibits them from getting fares outside their license area. So our good idea of a ride share failed.
When I came to La Man I took a bus which was kind of fun even though it took almost 6 hours. A bus leaves every 4 hours. Good luck!
