Hola people of La Manzanilla! I invite you to Tell Me Lies: a night of original words and music, one night only, Sunday February 23rd, at Palapa Joe’s. This year, I’ll be focusing on lies, and the beautiful power of delusion, with reasonable and unreasonable tangents. Some small parts will be in Spanish, and the rest in English (even if you speak English, those parts may not make sense). I hope for it to be soothing, a little disturbing, and, if we’re lucky, liminal. If you haven’t been to my little show before, ask someone who has, but only listen to the positive aspects of their review please, and then arrive with zero expectations. It usually lasts about an hour.
A SMALL BUT IMPORTANT NOTE is we’re going to try to make it slightly more formal by shutting the doors once we start, so everyone can pay more attention to me and my big important ideas and sounds. So, please try to arrive early to get in food and drink orders before we begin. The restaurant will be open as normal during the day. Hope to see you there.

Hola gente de La Manzanilla! Los invito a Dime Mentiras: Una noche de letra y música original, una sola noche, el domingo 23 de febrero en Palapa Joe’s. Este año me centraré en las mentiras y en el hermoso poder del engaño, con tangentes razonables e irrazonables. Algunas pequeñas partes estarán en español y el resto en inglés (aunque hables inglés, es posible que esas partes tampoco tengan sentido). Un cambio pequeño pero importante es que vamos a intentar hacerlo un poco más formal cerrando las puertas una vez que comencemos, para que todos puedan prestarme más atención a mí y a mis grandes ideas y sonidos importantes. Por lo tanto, intente llegar temprano para recibir los pedidos de comida y bebida antes de comenzar. Espero que sea reconfortante, un poco inquietante y, si tenemos suerte, liminal.
