We've all heard about the terrible tragedy at the Crocodile in the early hours this morning. Fire struck Mateo's new establishment, and the destruction is devastating! Mateo is a well-loved member of the community and he has done so much for everyone. We so appreciate him, but now it's time to help him for a change.
Yes, change. Starting tomorrow at tianguis, I will have a bucket to collect your spare change. Most of us have that container full of coins. Bring it down to tianguis and dump it in the bucket.
This will not solve the terrible trouble Mateo must now face, but it will surely be a big help. Look for me at tianguis near Laura’s produce stand. Let’s fill the bucket!
Mateo was the 1st person I met in La Manzanilla, and has been a great friend to me since.
