At 9am this morning water was gushing out of the south end pueblo water cistern. The cistern way up on the hill above the Primaria. Water was pouring out over the top edges of the stone walls, and spewing out of a 6 inch diameter pvc pipe, running like a river down the hills.

I asked a neighbour up there and she said this happens sometimes. Wow! Really!?

Crazy waste, especially during this time of drought, and half the town without water…

I phoned the delegado and have tried contacting Pondo.
I’m not sure what else to do.
Hope we can find a way to “solucionar este problema”.
