NOAA now shows Tropical Storm Barbara to our southwest and predicts it will gain hurricane strength as it passes us later tonight. I don't see that we are going to receive a lot of rain or wind from this storm, but we will be affected by very large surf. I have seen predictions of 12-18 foot waves arriving early Monday with continuing high surf advisories through Wednesday.
