There are so many places for rent in La Manzanilla that the board would be flooded by posts so they have never been allowed on the board.

Daniel used to run a site for rentals and charged a small amount for the advertising space. I’m not in a place where I want to run a site that is “pay for use” so if anyone wants to create that space, the opportunity is open and I’m happy to put a link on the message board to a new La Manzanilla vacation rental website.

Otherwise, all the local property managers have websites and there’s AirBnb and VRBO for those who want to run their own show.

In the meantime I will continue to delete any “for rent” posts. This includes replies to “rental wanted” posts in which someone promotes their property instead of contacting the requester directly.
