Don’t worry, that wasn’t Mateo you saw wearing long pants in the arctic temperatures, but his evil twin.
T-SHIRTS
Some of you are too young to remember this, but the old Crocodile Bar and Cabanas sold T-shirts back in the day. Plenty of folks have told us if they no longer have to type in a 17-digit code on the new La Manzanilla Message Board, the T-shirts also need a re-boot. You’re in luck! Come visit us Wednesday for your new “Crocodile Casitas and Glamping” shirts.
NFL TODAY AND COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS
We have access to all the NFL games and College Football Playoffs for the rest of the season! We have three big screens, so come cheer your favorite team.
NAVIDAD DINNER
Come celebrate Christmas Eve at the Crocodile. The four-course dinner starts at 6 p.m. You may purchase a ticket until 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, for 500 pesos. The charge for walk-ins will be 600 pesos. The full menu is at the bottom of today’s post.
BREAKFAST BARGAIN
We open at 8 a.m. daily and proudly serve a delicious breakfast not only to our hotel guests, but anyone who wants a good deal. You can get chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, huevos divorciados, eggs to order and pancakes for 100 pesos with either juice or coffee included.
HAPPY HOUR
Come by Monday-Friday from 3 p.m.-4 p.m. Free Coronita with any tequila shot. Bucket of 6 Coronas or 6 Victorias for 180 pesos. Quality margaritas for 60 pesos. Margaritas remain gluten-free since our founding in 2018!
LA CHAROLA
Our updated full menu for the season debuts on Tuesday night. There are plenty of familiar favorites such as fish tacos, sopa azteca and chili to be found. We also have a new party platter. “La charola sampler” features fried fish, boneless bbq chicken, fries and onion rings for 400 pesos. It’s a hearty meal for two or a great appetizer for groups of four or more.
CHAVA
The folks in Melaque call him Salvador, but what do they know? They can’t even pronounce “Melaque.” Here in La Manzanilla, we call him “Chava,” and he plays at 5 p.m. Tuesdays. Yotzin plays at 5 p.m. Mondays and you can enjoy Nahuales at 6:30 p.m. Sundays. If you like to dance, come on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. If you want soothing sounds to go with the sunset, please come Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We have music every day!
CERVEZA BIEN FRIA
We offer the following cold beers: Victoria, Corona, Corona Light, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, Amstel Ultra and Noche Buena daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If anyone asks Mateo if he adds sugar to his margaritas, he will start drinking beer at 8 a.m. daily.
NO SMOKING
Please understand we ask everyone to refrain from smoking on the property. The property includes the wooden tables next to the palapa and the lounge chairs and the private porches for the hotel guests. We have placed ash trays on the brown plastic tables on the beach. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
