With a heavy heart, I report our beloved Tilin passed away yesterday afternoon while in attendance at the hospital in Autlan.

His sister Lorena was present, however, I don't more details.

I will always remember Tilin's good humor and his positivity, never complaining about his life's circumstances. He was always making us laugh with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. His resilience was hard to fathom or believe. In his situation, I would have been devastated, depressed, and probably very negative.

Tilin's burial will happen today. Usually, there is a procession to the cemetery from the church after a Mass. The family is trying to get a Mass scheduled, but because of Christmas, this may not be possible today. I will post any information on timing and location as soon as I am able. Lorena mentioned a goal of commencing at 4:00 o'clock.

We will continue to collect donations as expenses continue for the family. Around 13,000 pesos have already been appreciatively received to date. I am guessing our goal should be 25,000 pesos to cover medical costs and burial fees. We will keep you informed. A giant thank you to all of you who have already reached out and donated.
