We hope everyone who likes the NFL will join us on Sunday, Jan. 25, for the NFL conference championship games. New England plays Denver at 2 p.m. for the AFC title. The Los Angeles Rams play Seattle at 5:30 p.m. All seating is first-come, first served. Please, no holding seats. We will have extra seating and tables to help the maximum number of fans enjoy the games. Who Dat! We’ll post our Super Bowl plans on our Facebook page in the upcoming days. We’ll also post soon on the message board when we promote our ren&*!$—deleted for national security reasons.

SPECIAL MUSICAL GUEST
When Mateo first visited La Manzanilla in 2013, he met Roberto and Laura of Cafe Du Calcetin and their three sons. Their middle son, Memo, became classmates with Mateo’s daughter Carmen in 2016 when Mateo moved to La Manzanilla. And at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, Memo and “The Three Pennys” will make a special appearance at the new Crocodile.

MARIACHI NIGHT!
The mariachi group Arriba Jalisco returns Sunday, Feb. 1, for our annual Mariachi Night! You must have a ticket to attend this event and your ticket includes the amazing night of music, food, and friendship. You must purchase your ticket while supplies last, the sooner the better to guarantee yourself a seat! Your ticket includes your Mexican meal with an appetizer, entree and dessert.

SUNSET EXTRAVAGANZA
Please support the La Manzanilla Ambulance and Peluditos! We will proudly host their major fundraiser on Feb. 4 with a beautiful meal and music. The organizations will have many wonderful items to bid on for your Valentine! Tickets will be sold at tianguis on Friday. Look for the ticket sellers near Laura's veggie stand.This is going to be FUN!

CHAVA RULES
They haven’t changed, but in order to avoid “pure chaos,” please understand the following for Tuesday nights at the Crocodile:
1. A reservation is not required
2. If you make a reservation, all reservations will be for 5 p.m.
3. Every person with a reservation must arrive on time. No holding seats.
4. At 5:10 p.m., all seats without a human become available for any human without a seat.
5. If you have any issue with service or food/drinks, please let Mateo know immediately (this is true from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily)
6. Have a great time like 99.9 percent of the folks in attendance

PARKING REQUEST
If you arrive on a bicycle, please park it right after you enter the property from the street. If you have a motorized vehicle, please park off the property.

HAPPY HOUR
Come by Monday-Friday from 3 p.m.-4 p.m. Free Coronita with any tequila shot. Bucket of 6 Coronas or 6 Victorias for 180 pesos. And the best margarita in town for 60 pesos. Just like no self-respecting Southerner eats microwave grits, no one at the Crocodile ever puts sugar in the margaritas. You’ll also be happy to know the margaritas remain free of gasoline, acid, paint and gluten!

T-SHIRTS
You can purchase new Crocodile shirts daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. We have a variety of styles and colors, not only the ones on display. Please be respectful to others by keeping the shirts in the box in an orderly fashion.

NO FUMAR POR FAVOR
Please understand we ask everyone to refrain from smoking on the property. The property includes the wooden tables next to the palapa and the lounge chairs and the private porches for the hotel guests. We have placed ash trays on the round brown plastic tables on the beach. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
