No nighttime birthday bash for Mateo this year because of the Super Bowl, but everyone is invited for a champagne breakfast at the Crocodile as Mateo turns LVII–that’s younger than you think.
Time: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Date: Sunday, Feb. 8

SUPER BOWL
Though Mateo’s beloved Saints only improved from horrible to almost mediocre this season, God showed lots of love for Mateo by letting Seattle advance to the Super Bowl. Good job, Seahawks! Now Mateo would love to show the fans lots of love with a great Super Bowl event.
Event time: Street gates open 3 p.m., enter at street side only!
Kickoff time: 5:30 p.m.
All-you-can-eat time: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Food menu: Hamburgers, fries, chili cheese fries, onion rings, guacamole, nachos, chili, boneless chicken, chimichangas, fish and chips.
Seating: First-come, first-served. Please, no holding seats for others, even if they have a ticket. If you’re picky about your seat, make sure you're first in line at 3 p.m.
TV screens: For the first half, the game will be on three screens in the palapa and one behind the casitas. For the second half, the game will also be on the huge projection screen behind the casitas and it will be on five screens total.
Tickets: 350 pesos, includes all food and drinks sold separately
Bracelets: We ask those who enter to please accept a bracelet after entering. That gives you access to go for a swim or to leave and come back if you choose.
Please understand it is not possible to enter without a ticket.
Please understand tickets will probably sell out, so it’s highly suggested to get your tickets on Friday, Feb. 6, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW THIS, BUT…
Please refrain from smoking on the property. Please park motorized vehicles on the street. Please park bicycles on the property near the entrance. Please avoid moving wooden tables. Please order from your seats. Please don’t ask Mateo if he adds sugar to margaritas, unless you wish to ask him if he adds paint thinner to the margaritas.
