To those driving north to Puerto Vallarta on the 200, these are the observations made by a friend who was driven there yesterday. Many OXXO and Pemex gas stations have been burned between La Manzanilla and PV. If you need to fuel up your vehicle along the way, do so at the first one you see open, or at the Pemex at La Cumbre. It has police station next door, and neither were burned during the events last week. It is probably a great idea to start your trip with a full tank of fuel!
