Town’s well water system:

15 hp pump, 4” diameter pipe

Tamarindo well water system:

100 hp, 12” diameter pipe

So as you can see, the town has no way of competing with the Tamarindo system - the wells are supposedly in the vicinity of each other and of the same aquifer.
