THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO MADE THEIR PAYMENTS TODAY
We would like to publicly thank the 7 users who came in today to pay for their water service.
Each of them made their annual payment of $1,200, bringing the total collected to:
$8,400 pesos.
Thank you very much for answering the call and understanding that your contribution helps keep our community's entire drinking water system running.
However, we still have a long way to go.
We need to raise $52,000 just to cover the electricity bills for our wells.
With the payments received today, we collected $8,400, meaning we are still short by $43,600 to reach this goal.
We would also like to put the fee into perspective:
Water service costs $1,200 per year.
That is $100 per month.
It amounts to just $3.29 pesos per day per connection.
Less than $3.30 pesos a day to contribute to the operation of the system that brings water to our homes.
That is why we are once again calling on those with outstanding payments:
Please come forward to settle your account. Right now, we really need everyone's participation.
We are not asking for a special assessment or extra fee. We are simply asking those with outstanding balances to make their contribution so we can pay for electricity, keep the wells running, and continue supplying water to the community.
To those who have already paid: THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
To those who haven't yet: we invite you to join in. Every payment counts.
We will continue to provide updates on how much we have collected and how much remains to reach the $52,000 goal.

PS: if you’re not in La Manzanilla but would like to prepay your 2027 water bill or make a donation, here is their BBVA account info for transfers.
PPS: The 52,000 pesos above is just to “keep the lights on” and pay CFE so the pumps don’t get shut off. Additional funds are needed to buy pumps and supplies to connect the new (not salty) well to the supply system.
