Anybody with experience having Solar Panels installed in La Manz?

Have you had solar panels installed in La Manz? If so, I'm looking to see what rough costs of installation are, and any recommendations on installers. Thanks!

Yes, 4 years ago. Only thing I would have done differently is add more. Our system is sized right as long as the a/c isn’t used much (which works well for us but not so much when short term visitors are here who aren’t used to the heat). Paul Zuñiga (Paul Z Construction and Design) arranged the installation for us so I don’t recall the installers name, but they did a good, clean job. The peso was 24 to 1 USD at the time so the price was far less than you pay up north. Solar panel prices should have come down the last few years so it probably balances out with the difference in exchange rate. I have noticed several tiendas and Mexican homes with new installations, so you may also want to post on La Manzanilla Life Facebook page in Spanish to get some more feedback. SpencerC/Moderator

We had ours installed a couple years ago by Agesa Energia Solar from La Huerta. They did a great job, 8 panels for around 90,000 pesos. New Solar panels get more efficient - every six months the wattage output goes up by at least 50 watts per panel. So you should be getting more powerful panels than we got. +52 357 384 0663 - on WhatsApp. English is spoken
