The bookstore needs in excess of 100,000 pesos in order to honor our commitment to our scholarship students! And that’s not including rent and electricity!
So if we do the math we need to sell 2,500 books annually to make ends meet! And that’s at 40 pesos each!
This year we have been graciously given tips from several musicians and a yoga teacher and we are profoundly grateful!
However…we need books re-donated so we can sell them again and again while the season is high…as in the summer we have next to nothing coming in!
So what I am saying is this…there are approximately 6 more weeks of high season and we need to make hay as the sun shines..or so the saying goes!
So if you have them, books that is, not hay, please think about dropping them by so we can assuredly make those payments!
