GOLF anyone?

My husband Johnpaul is here until 3/20. He brought his golf clubs and he has a rental car. Looking for any other golfers interested in playing a round at one of the courses in the area.

You basically have two golfing options in the area, neither one spectacular. Tamarindo, just south of us, costs about $330 US dollars and is a beautiful course. The only other nearby option is Isla Navidad golf Course (by boat) across the lagoon from Barra de Navidad. (or one can drive around.) To walk on Isla is about $100 US and the course is in B condition. Our group buys a package of 25 certificates each year for around $78 US but few of us are willing to give any of those up. Singles or doubles can go without a caddie but threesomes and foursomes have to pay an extra 800 to 1000 pesos plus tip for a caddie who does very little. My golfing buddies this week are going down to another course in Manzanillo, which is not in very good condition, so I am going out solo on Wednesday morning, leaving on the 8:30 bus.
