Rain Fall

For those curious, tonight on upper Concha Molida, we measured 1.67 inches of rain fall. The rate got as high as 2.1 inches per hour. Year to date we are at 4.37 inches.

As a old timer here in La Manzanilla is this normal for this time of year knowing there has been a drought for several years here?

We usually get off to a slow start….this year doesn’t seem to any different. 'Normal' rainfall is around 45 inches…last year was below normal at 35 inches…two years ago was up around 70.
