Soccer teams update & fundraising

Thanks to some generous donations, the local soccer teams have been able to restock with new balls and cover some league fees.

This month, coach Agape would like to outfit the youngest players with new uniforms.
These are the Pilotos, Ponis and Pequenos teams and each group has 20 players (60 uniforms total @ 280 pesos each).

Thanks for posting this soccer appeal, Spence. Pls. note that I've sent some dinero to Agape with XOOM for pickup at Electra, enough to cover 10 of the needed kits. Hoping some others might be able to provide a few more for the kids.

Hi, Pablo, I’m not collecting the donations this time around but I don’t think anything more has come in yet. Still at 3800 pesos and needing quite a bit more to outfit the younger teams.

Hi Cruz, As far as I know, the uniform fund is still at 3,800 pesos with over 12,000 still needed.

I haven’t been collecting donations this time around so I’m not 100% sure on the amounts. There are phone numbers in the original post to call Ron or Agape, but if someone needs to send a donation through me, I can certainly help with the transfer.
