Donations to the Beach Rocks Cleanup

The beach is looking amazing now! The rocks are gone and the sand is lovely.
The pueblo is asking for donations to help with the rather large expenses associated with the massive cleanup of the rocks on the beach.
For the houses and businesses on the beach, they ask for a minimum of 5,000 pesos each.
They will gratefully accept any other donations from folks that use the beach and appreciate the lack of rocks. Donations can be made at the store on the corner across from Oxxo. They will give you a receipt.

How ironic that the rocks should return again and again So In 1999 I started asking for donations to build the road across the flooded lagoon to get to the Boca Road, cemetery, and many campgrounds. Each year until last there were at least 70 truckloads of rocks dumped to make this crossover temporary Road. Each year the rains came the mangroves flooded and the rocks were taken out to see. Where did they go? Well we eventually know they came back on the beach which, according to humans was not OK. So this year hundreds of trucks and machinery have been taking up the rocks on the beach and putting them back on the road That goes from the lagoon to Boca. Isn’t nature a wonder and we humans think we know best ,!
