Costco Delivery

Has anyone had items shipped from the Costco in PV? I was able to get our account set up on Costco.mx. When I attempted to check out, I received the message that they are unable to ship to our address. I have a friend in Barra who gets shipments, so not sure if the problem is my address or they just don't deliver to LM. Thanks!

I enquired on Facebook, and got quite a few responses about buying online from Costco. It's a little complicated. I think if you don't order enough from one department they charge you quite a bit more than if you just went into the store.

Yes, they deliver to La Manzanilla but not from the PV store. Typically they use FedEx. It does sound like an issue with the address. Which is not uncommon here.

I recently received an order from Costco delivered here in La Manzanilla. JamesF is correct it does come from a central warehouse and not from a specific store. They do have special online discounts at times. I spoke by phone to their customer service. Getting an English speaking customer service rep took about 24 hours for a call back. They were very helpful and helped me enter my LM address correctly into their system also updating my membership data. I asked for help initially from the online chat help at costco.com. I tried in Spanish finally asking for an English speaking person's help. She said they will ship anything except perishables. My package, a small appliance, was delivered by Estafeta. It took about a week's time. Hope that is helpful. She said they can arrange for larger items to be sent too but that might be a bit different. Yes they will ship wine.

Good to know they ship wine! Ilene, I went through the same process with an English speaking customer rep. He set up my account using my membership # from the US. He had problems with our address because it doesn't come up correctly on google maps. I was able to order yet once I got to check out, I received the 'cannot ship to your address' message. I called the same rep and he said larger items come from their warehouse in Mexico City. Locations they ship to depends on the contracted shipping company. Not sure if this is entirely correct but I've decided to move on. Now I need a glass of wine! :-)
