Jardin benches update!

The inside benches in the main jardin are being repaired right now - thanks to the “ Helping Hands “bookstore for covering the total bill for 20,000 pesos. After the repairs, they will be thoroughly cleaned and finally painted! The new benches with the mosaics is still an ongoing mission, five out of the 18 individual benches have been replaced with two in progress right now! If anyone or a group of friends are interested in sponsoring a bench (15,500 p), please contact me mazinka@live.com We also need sponsors for the two trees and cutouts allocated for each bench - 2,500 p.

Actually the monies for repairs came from Otra Vez, or the community thrift store, next to the bookstore….the bookstore donates to scholarship students and medical help to locals!
And thanks to all the volunteers that make this all possible!
