Fireworks

Fireworks Last night there were some kids playing with fire works on the beach between Bahia Azul and Zazil A spark landed on my Palapa and caught fire. Thank goodness for a man who saw it Jumped into action and approached my back terrace to alert my friends of the fire on the second story. They had no knowledge of the fire. He jumped into action and asked permission to climb up to the second story balcony with the hose and put out the fire.
I am so grateful to him and my house Manager who came quickly to the rescue. Also my friends who also were quick to use the hose and FaceTime with me to assure me it was put out.
This could have been a very different out come if the brave young man didn’t take action, in minutes my house could’ve been up in flames.
My hope if you are a parent you talk with your children and help prevent this from happening again. The danger is real!
