No Bullshit Coffee

Just a heads up for all you customers out there. There is coming a rather substantial price increase. My main supplier has just increased (read jacked-up) the cost for green beans by 40% (that is not a typo). This will result in an increase to my customers of 100 pesos per kilo. (approximately 33%). This will take place when I have finished roasting what I have of the old priced beans. I estimate 3 weeks or so. You may want to stock up. It is possible that with all the negative feedback I know they are getting, they will readjust. If that happens then I too will readjust. I am not holding my breath.

It appears that it's not just in Mexico. Coffee price surges to highest on record.

From that article: " the price for Arabica beans, ... have jumped more than 80% this year. "

It uses less coffee and does not create wastes except for coffee grounds, that are easily added to soil. It is an environmental and pocketbook good choice.

They sell an aluminum version but I recommend stainless steel for cooking because I think aluminum is probably not good for our bodies.

John's usually at the Friday market along the road on the church side of the market.
