Property Taxes

I understand that property taxes are due by the end of January - and that they must be paid in person in La Huerta.
Are there no local options for paying your taxes, without making the death defying drive to La Huerta?

The folks from La Huerta usually come sometime in January to collect taxes and even Federal Zone payments. They set up in the office of the Delegación. There will be an announcement before they arrive.

Thanks David! I figured there had to be a simpler way to pay your taxes.
And, thanks for the Los Coyotes referral - Carlos and Cesar are great. Hard workers, good communicators and respectful. We have them booked one day a week.

You can also pay on line - https://www.lahuerta.gob.mx/
If you pay before end of August, you get a discount!

The link is for paying property taxes! I just did it and it went through! On the link there are various options to click onto. One is ‘pagos en linea’ , click onto it and then enter your account/property number. All very easy!

Hola, All. I was informed that you can no longer pay your property taxes online. You may want to check this information for correctness. I was told they had problems with this payment method and discontinued it a few months ago.

Also, if you are a Mexican citizen and 60 years old, you qualify for a discount. Cruz

I just paid on line and I got a discount of 300 pesos! Works perfectly!
