Whales in the bay this evening!

I had the pleasure of watching a mother and baby whale have great fun slapping and playing in the bay very close to shore for over an hour . Then some kayaker then another decided to get way to close and chased them .
You should be ashamed of yourselves. You were way too close .
Yes you had a great experience in getting so close and have lots to share with friends. Please be aware a mom and baby are very special and deserve their fun times with out us humans disturbing them for a few exciting moments.

This morning a paddle border stood very still for quite a while as a whale came to him to investigate. An exciting moment for sure . Then no less than 5 other kayakers speeded out to investigate. Of course that ended with the whale taking off being chased.

At the time the bay was full of birds. At least 5 different species.
Then Fan Man came along and scared everyone of them out of the bay. Good Grief can you guys leave nature at peace!!

Powerboat captains are educated about whale etiquette. One might think groovy kayakers would be too. Mama gave some smacks close to the one explicative deleted.
