Wiper blade scam at La Comer

Beware. This happened to us while parked at La Comer. Some scuzzy guy carrying wiper blades showed up when we got to our car. The guy had cut our wiper blade. He said we had a bad wiper and he was going to sell us a new one. He reportedly cuts wiper blades in hopes of selling the arm full of blades he has in his arms.
We said no and he looked shocked. It isn't bad and btw it is a rental car. Such a criminal. The car is brand new btw. Others are reporting this as well. Skip the "car wash" and don't let anyone touch your car at La Comer.
