We use chairs and other props to ease us into asanas that are for a beginners class. We take a slowed down approach and practice pranayama and body scanning to help relax. If you have never practiced yoga or are need time moving from floor to stand then this class might suit you as my intention is to practice safely and slowly. If you have not tried this, please consider coming. Opening the voice for one hour creates a profound internal shift - especially when you are chanting sanskrit which is designed to open the energy centers of the body.
We provide chantbooks. No experience necessary. The call and response chants are repitive and easy to learn.
