Ecstatic Chants from around World Feb. 22nd w/ Shanti Shivani, Paul Bergman & Friends
Posted by Shanti Shivani on February 21, 2025, 1:52 pm
Hola Amigas and Amigos,
On Saturday, February 22nd, at 7:30pm my dear friends Paul Bergman (guitar), Elizabeth Alexander (fiddle), Duncan Johnson (percussion) and I will be offering an evening of
Ecstatic Chants from around the World
as a bridge between different religions and cultures. Let us join in song to transcend division and remember our Oneness as citizens of the Earth. We will be offering Hindu, Sufi and Tibetan Buddhist call-and-response chants.
I like to call my concerts 'Prayerformances' as the chants begin in a meditative mood and move into Joy - all while sending our prayers into the world.
I look forward to surfing the waves of Sacred Sound with you!
Location: Casa Luz, 75 Boca del Rio, La Manzanilla
