Thanks to the 40 people who came out to enjoy the talk about the fish of the bay, and donated to support Juan Victoria's son's kidney transplant. The gofundme is now live, see link below. 17,700 Pesos were raised. Adding to Peter and Robin's personal donation of 10,000 pesos, and a spontaneous giving from guests at Carl and Stacey's evening party in Boca, the family are now on a financial cushion in the countdown to the transplant next week. Thanks so much for doing this, Peter, Robin, and everyone. It all came together so beautifully once you had the idea, Peter. I took my 2 granddaughters to the show. In addition to the valuable education re marine life, they got to appreciate how our small community can work such miracles - and the atmosphere at Casa Luz was so warm and welcoming - an eye opener for those city girls.

Thanks for sharing Carol; it can be a little lonely up in front, and although I felt what you expressed intuitively, I really appreciate your reaching out. Hope the rest of the holiday has been fun for your granddaughters.
