Warning! In the last two days the ambulance has been called for three scorpion stings, all of them serious. Apparently there is a different variety active right now, small yellowish colored ones with a very potent kick. Please, if you get out of bed in the dark, slip on some shoes right away. If you drop your clothes on the floor, shake them out vigorously before you put them on. I know people gave generously when we made a collection to buy antivenom, and I still have some of that money, but there is nowhere to buy it. I have heard our regidora has some but doesn't know how to use it. The rules from La Huerta have made it difficult to obtain. If you happened to be one of the folks who bought your own antivenom and you're leaving La Manz, please donate that antivenom to the ambulance. Help us to help you! Mil gracias!
¡Atención! En los últimos dos días la ambulancia ha sido llamada para tres picaduras de escorpión, todas ellas graves. Aparentemente hay una variedad diferente activa en este momento, pequeñas de color amarillento con una patada muy potente.
