Salt Water Therapy

Posted by Mark S User icon on July 22, 2025, 7:01 am

Our ocean this morning is 87.3F and clear, with waves just barely big enough to boogie board every now and then. The beach and ocean bottom are sandy, and the trench is long gone. We are experiencing a spell of perfect swimming conditions.

Enjoy!

In any other place on the planet (and we lived in Hawaii for thirty years) this place would be packed with tourists who paid the big big bucks to be here. That our beach is empty is amazing. Walking every morning and swimming is bliss. And no motos!!!!

Mark, how is the water since yesterday 's storm?

The storm didn't generate waves big enough to change the beach.

This morning the ocean temperature is 86.2, with small waves. The early hours are a good time for a swim as we may be getting more thunder and lightning activity later today and tomorrow.

Enjoy the wet!
