Alternative Banking Solution/Idea

Hola. I have a Wella Fargo bank account in the US and a BBVA bank account here. By using Express Send, a Wells Fargo service, I can transfer $ to BBVA at a $6.00 fee. I don't recall the limit which can be sent. BBVA does not charge anything.
The process must be initiated in the Wells Fargo office, where the data and Mexican bank account information will be recorded. Wells Fargo doesn't have the same connection to all Mexican banks. One would have to inquire which banks in Mexico participate with Wells Fargo.
Perhaps other US or Canadian banks might have this service. At $6.00 per transfer, it might be worth inquiring. Even a higher rate would beat the current rate for wire transfers. Just an idea, Cruz
PS: I have used Express Send for years, easy peasy.
