Seeking Volunteer Dog Walkers

Hola Friends! For anyone interested in volunteering to help walk the dogs at Peluditos, we are having an orientation meeting this Thursday Nov. 13th at 5pm at La Luz. I'll be there at 4:30pm to help set up for the 6:30pm showing of "We Don't Deserve Dogs. Come early and help me with set up! Here's the info: Our local rescue shelter for dogs, Peluditos, is seeking Volunteer Walkers who can offer our dogs much more than exercise. Walks give them the chance to learn, explore, and experience the world beyond the refuge. Each outing helps them grow, stay engaged, and build confidence through new sights, sounds and connections. These amazing pups would love the chance to stretch their legs, explore new places, and enjoy some one-on-one time with caring humans — whether it’s a walk around town or a stroll on the beach. To make this happen, I’m hoping to jump start a volunteer dog walking program and I’m looking for people who’d like to help! No experience? No problem — we’ll provide basic instruction on how to safely handle the dogs. We’re especially seeking volunteers with dog-friendly vehicles who can help transport a few dogs at a time from our nearby shelter to a central volunteer meetup spot in town. This is a wonderful way to: 🐶 Spend quality time with rescue dogs 🚶♀️ Get some exercise and fresh air 🤝 Meet other animal lovers An organizational meeting will be held Nov 13th at 5pm or come at 4:30pm and help set up for the movie night!
