Traffic Jam

Is it is the beginning of the season a lot of the bus drivers don't have a clue how to get through some of the dips in the roads here. Here's a great example of what happened earlier today. Good thing is the traffic jam wasn't too long. One bus unloaded all the passengers and was able to get through. The other one over inflated his tires and raced the bus up enough to get through. But it was a good laugh watching this and we'll probably see lots more.

It’s not in the photo but we were parked at the shop of Oscar’s for a duplicate key. The bus driver bottomed out the vehicle…a case of inexperience.

And old buses. Anything newer than about a 2014 has independent hydraulic suspension that the drivers use to raise and lower the chassis for just such occasions. All the buses I rent for my tours have this and we just drive straight (& slowly) through and dips like this raising and lowering as we go.Dan Flip Flop Nomad Tours
