Thanks to All who attended the film "We Don't Deserve Dogs"

We had a great turnout for our 2nd showing of the film "We Don't Deserve Dogs", a fund raiser for Peluditos Animal Shelter. A big thanks to all who donated and who came! Next fundraiser movie is targeted for mid-December. We are searching for a film that highlights the value and importance of dogs in our lives, and how we can best treat them. Could be a documentary or true story that is both entertaining and educational. We are open to suggestions. We plan to present the film for both Spanish and English speakers to enjoy at the same time - (so dubbed or subtitled or both.) Look for our announcement and flyer in the coming weeks.

Hola Cindy, here's an idra for another movie night: "The Point" was an animated film released in 1971 and it’s a jewel. Narrated by Ringo Star and music by Harry Nilsson, it is a true delight. Well worth hunting it down!
The creatures who live in the Land of Point all have pointy features, except Oblio (Ringo Starr), whose circular head is unusual. Singled out because of his appearance, Oblio is exiled to the Pointless Forest. In the process, he learns that it doesn't matter what you look like -- it's who you are on the inside that counts. Narrated by former Beatle Ringo Starr and featuring music by late folk-rocker Harry Nilsson, this animated children's fable is about one of life's important lessons.:
