Remember last year when we were faced with additional inspections before traveling from MX with our dogs? It’s still a thing. We had hoped that local vets would be authorized to make the inspections by now, but no. We have checked with our vet here and in Melaque and neither have the certification to make the inspection. Apparently the training is simple but the fees for the certification is expensive and must be paid monthly. Anyway, this paperwork means a trip to Manzanillo, same vet as last year. We will be making the trip next week….will update this post if there are any hitches.
