Any news re bridge during the week apart from duplicate?

We should start playing next week or the week after Christmas. It would have been sooner on my part but my flight was cancelled by Westjet today.

Generally we play Tuesday and Friday, at 1:00 at La Playa. Stay tuned.

If anyone wants to go ahead and start, feel free.

Be sure to talk to the owner at La Playa, first.

So sorry your flight was cancelled Vicki.
My daughter and I are arriving Mon evening and would love to play Chicago bridge for the couple of weeks she is in La Manzanilla. I'll be there until mid-March. Is anyone else interested in starting this Tues?

La Playa has not opened yet this season, though I occasionally see people moving around in there. Someone with better Spanish than mine might want to check on that.
Perhaps the better alternative would be Quinta Valentina where Duplicate is played. Lots of space up under the palapa, so no sun, and very good service. I can check with them if there are no objections.
I was entrusted with the purple bag with all the cards, score sheets etc.

QV is not a possibility during the Christmas season, and I don't know whether they can accommodate us after that. I'll find out.
I'm going to try for Don Raul's for this Friday ... perhaps we can get a couple of tables together.
In the meantime, rather than continue a long discussion on the board, would anyone interested in a 1:30 game at DR on Friday the 19th please contact me via email or phone ...

Thanks for getting this started. Rob and I will be playing but have had some bad luck..

I'm sure we can play somewhere, like Cafe du Calcetine. I'll ask then. Might work since they aren't on the beach. I'll let you know.

I have the space and chairs that could host 2 tables but I don't have tables. Does anyone have 1 or 2 card tables and want to play Tues or Friday?
