This MONDAY, January 12, 2026 from 1-3 pm, Myranda and Mike are hosting an afternoon acoustic Jam Session at our home. 205 Calle Playa Blanca (follow Playa Blanca (gravel road) over the arroyo, road forks, turn left, 3rd house on the left.) Signs at the corner and on the gate. We play Celtic, Folk, Blues, Old Rock, etc. Jam books and percussion instruments are provided. New songs/tunes are welcome so bring your favorites! No experience necessary. Come and play, sing or simply listen!. Hi, I am french canadian and my english is not very good. I don’t fully understand some expressions. For example: difference between acoustic Jam and open mike… I would like to have details about the activities for tomorrow and Tuesday. I have a Hammond SK1 portable organ… (I guess it will not be welcomed since it is not ‘’acoustic’’. Does the musicians bring music sheets of their songs (at least for the chords) so the other musicians will accompany the singer or solist adequately. Thank you. Reminder classes begin Tuesday 8:30 am at old Catalina language school second floor at the end of Perula ave. Class focuses on relaxation and movement while developing awareness of energy flow that occurs in our body. Four classes a week ,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
