Dog Attack

I am very grateful to all who responded to my post about my experience on Thursday. After a lot of thought, I decided to report it to the police, today! My wife has pretty decent Spanish, so the offer of help to go with me, although very kind, wont' be needed. It is hard to get past the "don't be a tattletail" admonition we all were bombarded with as kids. That's why I was hesitant. But I believe it's the right thing to do now. If instead of me, that had been a little kid, heavens knoww what would have been the result. Thanks again evereyone. Ian

Thanks for posting again and allowing the police/delagado help mediate the situation. I received multiple messages in the background on the original thread with people disputing both the events and subsequent accusations that were made in the thread. That thread has now been deleted and I hope you are able to come to a resolution.

Ian,
Very sorry to hear of your experience here in La Manzanilla, it is very unfortunate. I have been following the thread and talk in the puebla in regards to your experience. I am curious on what resolution you are looking for? Good luck with the delegato.

I don't understand why the original post was deleted. I thought it was a good idea for someone to warn others about a possible dangerous situation. Was it was not the truth? People didn't think the person was the victim?

Yes, it is a good idea to warn people of a dangerous situation but the thread started to include accusations of other incidents that were being disputed.
Ian started a new thread and will hopefully fill everyone in once the police have looked into it.
