Anybody Else Having Electrical Issues??

In addition to a recent electrical storm over La Manz, there have been a number of power outages with CFE doing work--and the combination of those have left our house with some major electrical problems. The pumps to our swimming pool and our plunge pools are fried. Our dishwasher is fried. 2 refrigerators aren't working correctly, our beloved espresso machine is fried, and we still have lights that flicker and other issues. Anybody else? I would appreciate any thoughts or experience on how to protect the house from this point (via surge protectors, voltage regulators, grounding rods, or any tips and tricks). Ugh and help!
Inverter type motors that are used in newer fridges, A/C and heat pumps are particularly sensitive to power fluctuations. We added a larger voltage regulator for one piece of equipment and smaller one for the computer. They also have specific VRs for fridges. If I was building new, I would look for a whole house model that would be hard wired right after the meter.
