RE: Correction of information re: Tamarindo well

I apologize that I answered Carl too quickly - supposedly Tamarindo did not buy one of the town’s existing wells - instead they strategically chose a location for their well, and then bought the right to dig a well on that land, from the Ejido member/owner of that land.
Then Tamarindo applied for the permission to dig a well - from La Huerta - and it was approved by La Huerta.
Supposedly Tamarindo then dug a well, at a location of the aquifer before our town’s wells, so the town’s wells come last, in retrieving water, to our town.
A question I have is how was the town’s water situation/supply before the Tamarindo well was dug…? Was it just as dire or has it changed dramatically since that well came to operate? I don’t know. And I don’t know what year it was dug either.
Maybe someone knows…
Plus I believe the water table has drastically decreased in general, in the wide area around here. Drier and hotter every year.
