Many of you might know my wife Barbara had a stroke in May of this year. In the past four months she’s made great progress with our in house physical therapist aid and a physical therapist specialist who comes three days a week. We have been doing a lot of speech therapy from online sources as well a MIT, melodic intonation therapy (singing therapy) but we’re really need a speech therapist who is coming down for the season to give us some professional guidance to make sure we’re doing the best we can to help Barbara regain her full speech abilities So if there is a speech therapist or pathologist coming please contact me asap. And while I’m asking we would also welcome any input from an occupational therapy, music therapist, art therapist , or any other therapist who has worked with stroke or brain injury individuals. Gracias in advance. P.S. I recognize you’re coming here on holiday so I don’t expect full time assistance but rather guidance to help us further Barbara’s recovery.
