ATM at Delagation

Countless gringos have had their money not dispensed at this ATM. I personally made it thru all the prompts, no money dispensed, no receipt. My bank reimbursed me while investigating. Today my bank TD withdrew the amount saying the ATM provider provided a receipt that the money was dispensed. Im fit to be tied. No additional recourse. Im pissed.

There have been reports over the years of this happening but even more frequently this year I have seen complaints on Facebook about this ATM. Unfortunate, but it’s worth the trip to Melaque to avoid this machine until it’s replaced. The usage fees can be outrageous even when it does work.

If you have a Mexican bank card, use the Caja Solidaria ATM in the first block from the Jardim on the left side of Ma. Asuncion. It is sometimes out of service, but it never steals your money.
